"For decade, the predominant model for deploying voice technology was on premises. However, over the past five years, the opinion of cloud-based voice services, such as Office 365, has changed dramatically. Just five years ago, the majority of businesses either felt that cloud unified communication was not viable or were taking a wait and see approach.
Today the majority of respondents are planning a minor or major cloud UC purchase. For Microsoft customers, Skype for Business in Office 365 provides an excellent alternative to a traditional premises-based deployment.

A third of the US population is made up of millennials that use multiple channels when reaching out or making a purchase, so how does this shift affect your bottom line? More importantly, how closely aligned is your customer experience strategy with how customers are buying?

Business leaders are increasingly looking to IT to deliver a mobile workspace that allows employees to access corporate data, applications, and communication resources on their devices of choice. But making the most of the opportunity while minimizing risks can be complex and overwhelming for many IT teams. Therefore, it makes more sense than ever for IT leaders to consider virtual client computing (VCC), also commonly referred to as virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions.

A common misconception about hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) is that because data services are software-defined, the hardware doesn’t matter. It’s easy to see why—the software driving HCI solutions such as the Dell EMC XC Series (in this case, Nutanix software) is exceptional. It efficiently manages data and communications across a cluster of nodes and storage tiers, keeping the cluster and virtual machines (VMs) up and running, delivering optimal performance and availability. Software-defined infrastructure is changing the way data services are delivered, making companies more efficient and agile, and reducing costs.
