Enterprises must continuously change to keep ahead of the competition, reduce silos, improve connectivity and respond rapidly to a changing world. Organisations also need to drive continuous innovation with technology that helps them adapt faster. So if you’re thinking of replacing your legacy ERP system, start by asking yourself these three essential questions:

In order to provide next-level digital experiences, you need to balance the modernisation of existing applications with the adoption of new ones. And a key factor in your ability to deliver these modern technologies and approaches is choosing the right foundation for your digital platforms.
To help you choose the right platform for delivering more impactful customer experiences, our white paper, Modernise the Customer Experience with Your Apps: Delighting Customers Starts with the Right Cloud Foundation, covers the following topics:
• Defining goals and requirements to ensure your modernisation efforts truly make an impact on the customer experience
• Determining the right mix of infrastructure technologies to underpin the application ecosystem that powers your customer experience
• Assessing application readiness to understand which workloads are best suited for public, private, and/or hybrid cloud.
In future, people with IT skills will no longer work only within the IT function. Instead, they’ll be part of an ecosystem of technology talent across the enterprise. How should CIOs respond to this change?
Read this briefing to find out:
• what the changing status of technology means for the IT workforce
• how CIOs can encourage employees to be IT enablers rather than IT ‘doers’
• why we need to rethink IT as a technology talent ecosystem
• why IT should no longer be the gatekeeper to technology – and what it needs to become instead.

Enterprises increasingly operate in a digitally interconnected world where third parties like suppliers, customers, channel partners, and others are often directly connected to their internal IT systems, and where their underlying IT infrastructure may be owned and managed by an outside organization. These business relationships can knowingly or unknowingly introduce different types of risks that need to be identified and managed as if these third parties were part of the enterprise itself. Recorded Future's latest risk intelligence offering enables threat intelligence teams to better understand, monitor, and measure their real-time exposure to these third-party risks. Armed with this information, organizations can better assess and prioritize risk mitigation actions.
Enterprise content is growing at an average rate of 200% per year-and the risks of noncompliance are growing even faster. This paper examines the business and technical difficulties of managing content from disparate systems and presents the most viable alternatives for addressing these challenges.
Business runs on content and that content must be managed holistically, across the entire business. However, managing content is, in itself, not enough to drive business. Enterprises must incorporate ECM with other IT management systems to provide complete Business Service Management (BSM).
A recent survey of CIOs found that over 75% want to develop an overall information strategy in the next three years, yet over 85% are not close to implementing an enterprise-wide content management strategy. Meanwhile, data runs rampant, slows systems, and impacts performance. Hard-copy documents multiply, become damaged, or simply disappear.
This Executive White Paper, sponsored by Pitney Bowes Marketing Solutions, a provider of web-based marketing automation solutions, examines the competitive advantages offered by marketing automation portals and the potential impact of these types of portals on marketing campaigns deployed in complex, rapidly evolving markets.
This comprehensive PBX Buyers Guide explores the PBX technology (both hosted and traditional) and empowers the mid to enterprise business PBX buyers with critical information necessary that is helpful in selecting the right phone system for any business.
Bandwidth. Speed. Throughput. These terms are not interchangeable. They are
interrelated concepts in data networking that help measure capacity, the time
it takes to get from one point to the next and the actual amount of data
you’re receiving, respectively.
When you buy an Internet connection from Spectrum Enterprise, you’re buying
a pipe between your office and the Internet with a set capacity, whether it is
25 Mbps, 10 Gbps, or any increment in between. However, the bandwidth we
provide does not tell the whole story; it is the throughput of the entire system
that matters. Throughput is affected by obstacles, overhead and latency,
meaning the throughput of the system will never equal the bandwidth of your
The good news is that an Internet connection from Spectrum Enterprise is
engineered to ensure you receive the capacity you purchase; we proactively
monitor your bandwidth to ensure problems are dealt with promptly, and
we are your advocates across the Internet w
Today, ERP is a cornerstone of many organisations’ tech infrastructure. Yet many of the solutions in play are legacy products, decades old and designed for an entirely different business landscape.
With industry leaders expressing concern that out-of-date ERP solutions have now become an impediment to competitive business, IDC set out to uncover what exactly modern companies need from their ERP systems, and why SAP S/4Hana seems so well placed to deliver.
The mobile device is part and parcel of daily life. It’s fundamentally changed the way consumers behave, and this influence has spread to the enterprise sector as well. For instance, patron-owned mobile devices have largely helped pave the way for the widespread emergence of bring-your-own-device (BYOD) policies. Ten years ago, the idea of a company employee logging into the enterprise system while they’re on an airplane over the Atlantic would seem far-fetched, but today such behavior is relatively commonplace. Mobility is changing how we shop, work and live our daily lives.
"Customers in the midst of digital transformation look first to the public cloud when
seeking dramatic simplification, cost, utilization and flexibility advantages for their new
application workloads. But using public cloud comes with its own challenges. It’s often
not as easy as advertised. And it’s not always possible or practical for enterprises to retire
their traditional, on-premises enterprise system still running the company’s most mission-critical workloads. Hybrid IT – a balanced combination of traditional infrastructure,
private cloud and public cloud – is the answer. "

Today, nearly every datacenter has become heavily virtualized. In fact, according to Gartner as many as 75% of X86 server workloads are already virtualized in the enterprise datacenter. Yet even with the growth rate of virtual machines outpacing the rate of physical servers, industry wide, most virtual environments continue to be protected by backup systems designed for physical servers, not the virtual infrastructure they are used on. Even still, data protection products that are virtualization-focused may deliver additional support for virtual processes, but there are pitfalls in selecting the right approach.
This paper will discuss five common costs that can remain hidden until after a virtualization backup system has been fully deployed.

Industrial enterprises around the world are retooling their factories with advanced technologies to boost manufacturing flexibility and speed, achieving new levels of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), supply chain responsiveness, and customer satisfaction in the process. This renaissance reflects very real pressures industry players face today. For years, traditional factories have been operating at a disadvantage, impeded by production environments that are “disconnected”—at the very least strictly gated—to corporate business systems, to supply chains, and to customers and partners.
