AFTER DECADES IN THE LIMELIGHT, email remains the most powerful channel for eCommerce marketers. And this success continues even as many eCommerce marketing teams rely heavily on batch and blast emails that go to their entire list without any customization. While such efforts clearly bring in revenue, they also leave money — a lot of money — on the table.
Recognizing that largely untapped opportunity, top eCommerce marketers have started to take a more strategic approach to email. In addition to traditional batch and blast campaigns, these marketers now tailor messages based on both their customers’ behaviors and changes to their product data in order to send more customized and timely messages.

Advertising is a high-risk game. Done well, ads break through the noise, spark conversations about your brand, drive demand, and boost sales. Done poorly, ads bury your messages, damage your brand image, fail to generate revenue, and waste budget on expensive campaigns that fail to deliver.
With so much on the line, getting your ads right is crucial. How do you ensure success? Ad testing.
As the name implies, ad testing is validating your ad with your target audience prior to launch. You can test individual portions of your ad, like messaging, headlines, visuals or calls to action, or even initial reactions to early ad concepts.
Ad testing gives you the following benefits:
• Predict the effect on purchase intent
• Make informed go or no-go decisions on a specific ad launch
• Understand how your brand is perceived
• Get the highest ROI from your ad spend
Ad testing is one of the best ways to protect your advertising budget and maximize the chances of landing the right messaging with you

As a creative leader, your job involves a lot more than bringing concepts to life. You’ve got a team to manage, and a pile of clients to keep happy. You’ve got content to ideate, assets to build, and campaigns to manage— and it all needs to be delivered on time and on brand. Ideally, your team would concept and shoot every asset to perfectly merge imagery and message for every deliverable. But business deadlines and budgets don’t always allow time for careful creativity—and 62 percent of creative marketers say creating original imagery requires time and effort their team can’t afford.
With more and more competition for our increasingly short attention spans, it’s no wonder we’re seeing reliance on visuals as the leading form of communication across the web.
Even the most well-thought-out ideas and well-written content will get lost in the shuffle if the visual elements aren’t equally compelling—or don’t communicate the right message. That’s why the imagery you choose should be as strategic as the written message behind it. It’s not enough to settle for the first applicable image you find in your stock library—you need to ensure every image is on brand and conveys the right idea.
Download this whitepaper for a few ways to use imagery to meet your brand’s content marketing objectives.
If you’re wondering whether you should really prioritize email
in your marketing—especially when new channels continually
emerge—consider this: 91 percent of marketing executives agree
that email is their most effective channel.1
Clearly, email isn’t just
here to stay, it’s the mainstay. And with the ability to personalize
and contextualize messages, upgrade mobile campaigns, and
better understand customer needs, email marketing has evolved
into a stronger and smarter version of its former self.
Everyone knows that content is crucial to attract, engage, and reach consumers. But while this may be true, it’s important to consider the medium involved. Right now, the format to beat is clearly video, with 51% of brands investing more in 2018 than the year prior.1 And with so many forms of video available, such as content, programmatic, and pre-roll, it’s important to understand how to use video for building both brand connections and direct response.
Currently, video provides advertisers with a versatile medium to
reach the audiences they want, where they want, to put the best
spotlight on their story. But the question remains—what is the
best way to reach your target, and how can you ensure they will
pay attention to your message? Download this whitepaper to find out!

A user initiates the call and selects the source language, such as Spanish. (In this example, assume that the target language is set to English.) As the user is talking to the support representative, the audio is converted to text using the Speech to Text service. Then using Language Translator, the text is translated to English.
English language text is then sent to the Text to Speech service as input. The output audio message is what the support representative hears. All of this happens in near real time. The text from Speech to Text and the Language Translator service also can be stored in a database for analytics. The same process is repeated in reverse for the audio message sent by support personnel.
