App and desktop virtualization is much more than a technology solution. It is transforming the way organizations of all sizes are enabling their workforces while simplifying the desktop management process for IT administrators. With app and desktop virtualization, IT organizations can provide every user with a workspace environment completely unrestricted by physical location.
This paper addresses many common business challenges facing IT organizations, such as enabling mobile workstyles without compromising security, streamlining desktop management efforts as the number of employees in remote offices and offshore locations increases and making the user experience personal through self-service access to applications and desktops.
Simple, secure ways to deliver a great experience for remote users.
As mobile workstyles transform the way people and businesses work, remote access is becoming more important than ever. In enabling people to work anywhere, on any device, you need to meet IT’s requirements for security and manageability—but it’s just as important to consider user experience.
Citrix, a leader in mobile workstyles, has long recognized that remote access has to address the needs of users as well as IT. With an entire team dedicated to user experience, Citrix has developed secure-by-design remote access solutions that make it simple for people to work the way they choose, anywhere and on any device, to deliver optimal productivity and business impact for their organizations

The early days of enterprise mobile app development focused on creating a functional experience and getting it out the door quickly, leaving “quality” as a problem for another day. As organizations mature their development and delivery of mobile applications, traditional software quality fundamentals settle back into the life cycle, with some key changes to testing processes and team structure. App performance is an example of how mobile changes quality assurance. Performance is a key pillar of quality that mobile shops often overlook in their race to market. Consumers worldwide continue to adopt and use technology in their shopping experience.
Faced with rising customer expectations and increasing competitive pressures, retailers
now are prioritizing in-store innovation. Many retailers have adopted multichannel
implementations, in which mobile, web, and in-store shopping are enabled but not delivered

When the opportunity emerged for one bank to acquire the other, the deal went through as quickly as regulations and compliance requirements would allow. As a result, no integration plans were in place at the time of acquisition. For a long time, the two companies continued to operate separately, albeit under a single name. This was particularly true of the mobile banking experience where two entirely different apps were in use.
Since the two companies delivered complementary services, there was an opportunity to cross-sell to customers who might require the services of both; but only if they could deliver a seamless experience. We were invited to tackle the challenge of creating an integrated banking app experience across both companies.

The telecommunications market is highly saturated. In most of the developed world, nearly everyone who wants a mobile phone has one. There are opportunities for carriers to increase service usage or upsell customers on higher-value devices or services, but each new account generally comes at a competitor’s expense—so customer retention is crucial.
Telecom service providers need to reduce losses, prevent churn and maximise revenue on their offerings. FICO’s Best Next Action™ technology can be an important tool to achieve all of these objectives, either by presenting new offer terms or cross-selling other products and accessories to enhance the customer’s telecommunications experience—the handset upgrade, better financing terms, insurance on the handset or a subscription service for content.

o Optimise service utilisation
o Segment accounts
