Even as cyberattacks have evolved, phishing remains the number one threat delivery tactic. Why? Because it’s effective. That’s the bad news.
The good news is, your organization can effectively defend against phishing attempts with the right program in place. You can stand in the way of the abuse of your most mission-critical communications app. There are six key areas to consider.
Read this Gartner research note, Fighting Phishing: Optimize Your Defense, to advance your anti-phishing program.
As digital as we are, paper will not go away. Few companies have optimized their print marketing like they have optimized their online marketing.
The printing industry is a giant $800bn per year (SmithersPira: The Future of Global Printing to 2018), and as a marketer we know it’s challenging to track the ROI of printed material.
Commissioning a print run could require specialist knowledge, but it doesn’t need to. You may not realize the multiple factors built into your print marketing spend, and errors can be painful. Mistakes incur extra cost, delays, and potential dips in quality, harming your brand.
Gelato shares some tips for smart printing.
Every day, torrents of data inundate IT organizations and overwhelm the business managers who must sift through it all to glean insights that help them grow revenues and optimize profits. Yet, after investing hundreds of millions of dollars into new enterprise resource planning (ERP), customer relationship management (CRM), master data management systems (MDM), business intelligence (BI) data warehousing systems or big data environments, many companies are still plagued with disconnected, “dysfunctional” data—a massive, expensive sprawl of disparate silos and unconnected, redundant systems that fail to deliver the desired single view of the business.
Databases tend to hold an organization’s most important information and power the most crucial applications. It only makes sense, then, to run them on a system that’s engineered specifically to optimize database infrastructure.
Yet some companies continue to run their databases on do-it-yourself (DIY) infrastructure, using
separate server, software, network, and storage systems. It’s a setup that increases risk, cost, complexity, and time spent deploying and managing the systems, given that it typically involves at least three different IT groups.
A&D manufacturers and their suppliers now depend more than ever on global supply chains. As they reach across time zones, languages and cultures, supply chains have to work around challenges that build up costs and drag down production schedules. Communication between distributed engineering and production centers can be labored and error-prone. These problems are often compounded by repetitive programming, incomplete simulations, time-intensive production methods, and concern that the shop floor may not be working with current data. Ideally, global companies should be able to design products at any location and produce them at selected sites, with all stakeholders from design to the shop floor working concurrently from a single unique global data source.
Understand how manufacturing companies can deliver machined parts faster and increase revenue by reducing costs – despite operating globally across time zones and cultures.
One of the most dramatic innovations in the infrastructure management marketplace in the last five years is the rise of Network Change and Configuration Management (NCCM) as a strategic requirement. This white paper will focus on the strong values that NCCM can bring to reliability, risk and cost management, as well as some of its powerful operational and lifecycle asset values. This report will also introduce the CA SPECTRUM Network Configuration Manager as a distinctive leadership offering.
According to industry experts, organizations that systematically manage the life cycle of their IT assets will reduce the cost per asset by as much as 30% in the first year alone. Yet today, many organizations have little or no insight into exactly what assets they own, let alone how they can optimize assets throughout their life cycle, from requisition to disposal. The same holds true for major IT investments.
Using a Multi-Store Ecommerce Strategy to Significantly Increase Customer Acquisition.
As Ecommerce becomes a leading strategy for businesses, online retailers are presented with a challenge: how to increase sales by personalizing the customer shopping experience and strengthening the brand. The solution is to develop a multi-store strategy that "divides and conquers" this challenge. Retailers can develop several online stores that cater to distinct customer demographics, optimize separate checkout flows based on product, or improve conversion rates in marketing campaigns.

In today’s technology-rich world, customers and employees demand the highest level of application performance. Failure
to provide access to applications that consistently perform well anytime, anywhere, and on any device, often leads to lower
productivity, customer dissatisfaction, decreased revenue and market share, and damage to brand reputation.
This paper explores the challenges that today’s CIOs face in regard to application performance, and how a more strategic
data center approach, like distributing applications closer to your users, can help optimize application performance and reduce IT costs.
IDC’s research shows enterprises around the world are using multicloud strategies
to optimize the performance of modern and existing legacy applications running
on-premises, in public cloud services, and on legacy systems. In the early days of
enterprise cloud adoption, many organizations focused their cloud strategies on
enabling net-new cloud-native applications written to take advantage of dynamic cloud
infrastructure and pay-as-you-go consumption-based cost models. Early success with
these implementations is convincing more and more enterprises to expand their cloud
footprint and to migrate existing applications to cloud in order to enhance end-user
experiences, optimize cloud resource utilization and costs, and create a more flexible
and agile business environment.
