When we released our first white paper in February 2015 discussing the ways multi-location businesses were using online media to drive in-store visits, most of the strategic opportunities being leveraged by marketers revolved around using things like promotional coupons, beacons and other tactics. While those methods certainly provided incremental lift in in-store traffic and revenue, there existed a number of gaps in connecting online data associated with promotional efforts, to data that indicated a customer actually converted offline at a business location. At press time for our original “online-to-offline” white paper, digital industry giants were still very much in the early stages of evaluating data points that signified offline customer conversions. Many of these “conversions” were somewhat implied (i.e. Clicks on “Get Directions” link), while others were a bit more reliable in signifying in-store visits and purchases made by consumers (i.e. downloadable coupon redeemed in-store

Social media is all around us and has fundamentally changed the way many of us communicate--both personally and professionally. Video can make your social media better, and ultimately get more leads to your website. But how best to post, measure, and use to drive traffic to your website?

Encryption technology has enabled much greater privacy and security for enterprises that use the Internet to communicate and transact business online. Mobile, cloud and web applications rely on well-implemented encryption mechanisms, using keys and certificates to ensure security and trust. However, businesses are not the only ones to benefit from encryption.
In the not so distant past, the way we worked looked very different. Most work was done in an office, on desktops that were always connected to the corporate network. The applications and infrastructure that we used sat behind a firewall. Branch offices would backhaul traffic to headquarters, so they would get the same security protection. The focus from a security perspective was to secure the network perimeter. Today, that picture has changed a great deal.
Everybody has their favorite apps…but can you name even three mobile websites you like? Probably not – and that’s because retrofitting desktop web designs fails to meet users’ mobile expectations. Yet in spite of that, smartphone traffic is at its highest point ever and will only continue to increase. This report, written by Forrester analysts, outlines why it’s time for a radical web reset and how you can make your mobile website a “first-class citizen.”

While keeping traffic in and out tightly secured, making sure each package reaches its destination on time, and without going over budget.
This white paper can help you confirm that your small business or distributed enterprise needs to invest in an effective next-generation firewalls (NGFW) solution. For small businesses, the
NGFW should provide an affordable and manageable entrée to advanced threat protection. In branch offices and the distributed enterprise, NGFWs should provide a detection and enforcement point, analyzing real-time threats and network traffic at scale and benefiting from an integrated and holistic view of the network of which it is a part. In both use scenarios, the NGFW should help your organization defend against targeted and persistent malware attacks, including emerging threats.

Websites provide online businesses with an unprecedented level of contact with customers and end
users. However, they also place business information where it can be easily accessed by third parties –
often using automated tools known as “bots”. For many organizations, bots represent up to 50%
or more of their overall website traffic, from good bots engaged in essential business tasks to bad
bots conducting fraudulent activities. Regardless of business impact, bot traffic can reduce website
performance for legitimate users and increase IT costs. Organizations need a flexible framework to
better manage their interaction with different categories of bots and the impact that bots have on
their business and IT infrastructure.
